Free hugs from Manchester Parents Group

Come and get a free hug at the Manchester Parents Group stall at Levenshulme Pride. Saturday 18th August, 12.00-17.00 at The Klondyke.

Manchester Parents Group is a voluntary organisation which supports families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons (LGBT). We are all parents of lesbian, gay and bisexual sons and daughters and understand the confusion and questions you may have when when you first found out your child is gay.

We have accepted our children’s sexuality or identity, and want to help other parents and family to accept their lesbian and gay children.

We understand that it can be daunting to tell you parents about your sexuality so we help gays and lesbians to tell parents about their sexuality.

Urban sketching at Levenshulme Pride

Urban Sketching during Levenshulme Pride…!

I’m hoping to get together a small group of people who like drawing, to produce some work during Levenshulme Pride. We’ll meet at 6pm on the Friday evening at the Klondyke at the start of the Pride weekend, and then set out, drawing everything that goes on through the three days of fun and stuff – reconvening at 12 on the Sunday to see what we’ve produced in all our different media and styles. Who’s in?
