Levenshulme Pub Company

Levenshulme Pub Company has been trading in Levenshulme for 29 years. It was started with the acquisition of the former Palace Cinema. Bringing it back into use was an ambition of LPC Managing Director Lawrence Hennigan. Over the years. the club brought the likes of Peter Kay, Johnny Vegas and Anthony Wilson to Levenshulme as well as hosting live music, comedy and theatre. Initially catering for the Irish Community, the venue diversified to cater for the wider community.

Levenshulme Pub Company now has 4 venues on Stockport Road as well as another just over the border in Burnage. Hennigan’s Sport’s Bar is located close to the Council Car Park showing live sport round the clock. If your live game is on – you’ll find it live at Hennigans. Across the road, one of the highlights for The Union customers is their Saturday Night Live – hosting live entertainment from Soul, Motown and Jazz singers.

M19 Bar is next door and caters for the late night trade on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Why not ask us about hiring our fabulous function room / venue?

When the old Fred’s Bookmakers came up for sale – LPC were determined to bring it back into life. They invested heavily in the project and it became Fred’s Ale House, Art Gallery and Coffee Shop. Their Indonesian Street Food is hugely popular and brings something different to the High Street. With half a dozen rotating real ales with ciders and perrys – Fred’s is a welcome addition to Levenshulme.

Lawrence Hennigan said,

“We are a small family owned company who have prioritised employing local people for 30 years. We are proud to invest in the place we love. Levenshulme has a reputation as an open and tolerant area and that’s why we are proud to support “Levenshulme Pride”.
