We signpost LGBT people from all backgrounds, regardless of age, gender, ability or race, in and around Greater Manchester, to the support services and social groups, many of whom aren’t the best at outreach, in order to raise awareness of the support available and improve lives.
Our partnership work and collaborative approach enables us to monitor services and hold organisation to account when they don’t deliver what has been expected or promised.
We have been instrumental in organising three inaugural prides within the region and have another in the pipeline, as well as supporting the organisation and planning of others. We have contributed to research and supported numerous LGBT-related projects.
We aim to host a conference to bring organisations and individuals together to share knowledge and experience through talks, workshops and informative stands to improve communication, better promotion of projects and campaigns and be reactive to the needs of real people within the city and further afield.
